About two-thirds along Noordhoek Beach. Best on a solid six to eight feet day. Dunes is still a little secret spot. You walk about 20-30 minutes along Nordhoek Beach. At the left end of the beach you will find the spot. It is so deep in the bay, that the wave has to turn almost 180 degrees, before it breaks as a awesome left barrel and finally closes out in the shorebreak. Best with light south east winds. Competitions are held there regularly.

Wind and Weather Conditions
Long wetsuits needed all year round - although people were seen in shorties some times. Air around 30°C in the summer, down to 15°C in the winter. The water is pretty cold, around 10-15°C in the summer and 13-17°C in the winter. The longer the South Easter (prevailing summer wind) blows, the colder the surface water gets. Doesn't matter much in summer though. Recommended wind for kitesurfing is wind coming from SW . Wind usually blows from SW on the spot.
